Looking back over my life I remember my mother, who is a missionary now at the Bay Street Church Of God In Christ, would always take my brother, my 2 sisters and myself to church with her. She made us join the sunshine band (children choir) knowing none of us could sing.

At an early age I knew God placed a call upon my life. As a young boy I traveled with my grandfather, the Reverend Effer Jefferson, to hear him preach the gospel. He had 2 churches.  He preached at one church the first and third Sunday and the second church the second and fourth Sunday. It was always my desire to one day grow up and preach the gospel as I heard my grandfather do so often.

I attended Bay Street Church Of God In Christ in Winter Garden Florida until June 7th, 1976. I left home to join the Marine Crops. From January 1981 until May 1982 I attended Gateway Free Will Baptist Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I gave my life to Jesus Christ January 24, 1982 and later in the same year I was baptized. I transferred to Okinawa Japan May 1982 returning home to the United States May 1983. I was stationed in Norfolk Virginia, where I attended Garden of Prayer Temple Church Of God In Christ from 1983 to 1985. I soon transferred to Iwakuni, Japan 1985. I returned to the United States 1986 and was stationed in Washington DC. Lastly, I transferred to Camp Lejeune North Carolina February 1991. I attend New Convent Church Of God In Christ in Jacksonville, North Carolina for a short period. In June 1995 I began attending House of Deliverance Church in Richlands, North Carolina. I was licensed as a Minister of the gospel for House of Deliverance June 7th 1998. I functioned in the call and gift of a Prophet. I taught Wednesday night Bible Study. One Wednesday Night as I was teaching I received a greater call upon my life; God gave me the name of the ministry in which he wanted me to Oversee, No Greater Refuge Ministries in 1996. 

Hello Everyone my name is Bishop Victor D. Jefferson, and I am the Bishop of NGRI Ministries Southeast Regional Int located in Florence SC . Becoming a Bishop and marrying my wife, Pastor Shirley, were 2 of the biggest monumental things I have ever done to this date. On April 8th 2007, I and Pastor Shirley opened NGRI Ministries Southeast Regional Int.
